Bill Glover is a retired mining engineer who has written five books of non-fiction since 2011 including four in the Mad Miner series. The most recent published in 2019 “Gold for a Mad Miner” is an anthology of 18 stories to celebrate the Kirkland Lake Centennial. His books of human-interest stories are based on quirky characters, amusing and sometimes terrifying experiences from 50 years on his personal mining trail from the High Arctic to South America, mainland China to the Jungles of Indonesia and beyond. His travels have taken him to 6 continents, all 50 US States and across Canada from sea to sea to shining sea. His third book “Tales of a Mad Miner” received honourable mention in 2016 from Whistler Independent Book Awards for self-published authors. Bill and his wife Jo-Ann have 3 grown children, a brood of grandkids and live on Lake Kenogami in Northern Ontario.
