I am an author of both young adult contemporary fiction and adult non-fiction. Embers, a YA novel, will be published by Word Alive Press in 2020. I am a mother of ten and a grandmother of 12. I have worked in the newspaper industry as a reporter and editor and in the social work field supporting youth with exceptionalities. These experiences as well as my upbringing in a small town strongly influence my writing.
