Tom Mills’ award-winning columns appear in newspapers across the province. He has been called “a dazzling humourist: breezy, newsy, charming, self-deprecating…one of the funniest writers in this country (or any country)” by Ontario Newspaper Awards judge and Toronto Star columnist Vinay Menon. His self-published book, Sex is a Four-Letter Word and Other Misconceptions, is based on his Humourme columns. Born in North Yort, Tom acquired degrees in English and Journalism at the University of Western Ontario and Waterloo University. He worked as a reporter and editor at various newspapers before retiring early from The Sault Star in 2009. He lives on a lake just north of the Sault.
