Recording of Author Talk with Marianne Jones

On March 28, WritingCommunity.ca co-founder Jessica Trudel sat down for an interview with Thunder Bay author Marianne Jones, author of Maud and Me (Crossfield Publishing, 2021). With Maud and Me set for release on June 10, 2021, we thought now would be a good time to release the recording.

In Maud and Me, Marianne Jones explores the inner isolation of Nicole, a woman resigned to her role as a pastor’s wife in a small northern community. Nicole finds an ally in Lucy Maud Montgomery whose spirit joins her in her garden for a cup of tea.
