Take the Kidlit Questionnaire

The Kidlit Questionnaire is a fun way for writers and readers to get to know authors of kidlit. It’s also an opportunity for authors to promote their past and upcoming work.

The 21 question survey covers everything from when you wrote your first story, to how your writing process has developed, to your experience working with agents and/or editors. All the questions focus on the positive. Though you are encouraged to share the darker side of publishing, it’s ultimately about what you took away from it and what your fellow writers can learn from your experience.

We’re looking to hear from authors in all kidlit age groups including board books, picture books, chapter books, middle grade, and young adult. If you’ve been published in a kidlit magazine rather than in book form, that’s great too!

There is no cost to this initiative. It’s just something fun we wanted to do for the kidlit community. Put as much time into the Kidlit Questionnaire as you’d like. You don’t have to answer every question, but you can if you want!
