2020 Book Fair postponed due to COVID-19

We have been closely monitoring the development of COVID-19 and we have now made the difficult decision to indefinitely postpone the 4th Annual Northern Ontario Book Fair which was slated to take place in August 2020.

With the potential of a second COVID-19 wave hitting Ontario in late summer/early fall, we do not want to put our vendors, presenters, and visitors at risk. We encourage all of our writers and communities to continue to be vigilant during this time of uncertainty and avoid large gatherings until the government and its experts have lifted the state of emergency and/or advised that it is safe to gather again.

We will be issuing refunds to our 2020 event registrants. If you paid for your registration and do not hear from us within the next couple of weeks, please reach out to Jessica at 705-262-3268 or via email at info@writingcommunity.ca.
